CALLING
I fell in love with Jesus and received a calling into ministry at the age of 12. Since then, my purpose has been to introduce people to the grace and love of Jesus. Later in life, I developed a desire to help others learn to hear God's voice for themselves and understand His word accurately. This has inspired and enabled many people to discover their divine destiny. Above all, I strive to live out the greatest commandment: Love God and Love People.
PASTORAL PURPOSE
My ministry purpose is to serve God by serving the local church, mentoring staff, sharing the gospel, and collaborating with leadership to establish a clear vision. While I have skills in preaching, budgeting, and organization, my passion lies in mentoring and developing staff. I find joy in helping them discover and develop their unique giftings and talents. Providing vision and direction is a fundamental part of who I am and brings me fulfillment and a sense of purpose.
PARTNERS IN LIFE
I absolutely love being a husband, father, and grandfather. Call me “POPS”. Tyann, my wife and childhood sweetheart, is not only my partner in ministry but also a rock of stability and faithfulness. Our children have been raised in the ministry, and they all share a deep love for Jesus. Our oldest son and his wife serve as student ministry pastors, our middle son, after graduating from UCLA, has chosen to make LA his home as he embarks on his career journey, and our youngest son works as a production director at a local church and recently got married. Like many families, we have weathered a few storms, but we are stronger for it. I am so thankful for the love and support we share with each other.
